An expanded meeting of the Akimat of Kostanay region was held

During the meeting, the issue of the implementation of the state program of housing and communal development "Nurly Zher" for 2020-2025 and the availability of sports infrastructure for the development of mass sports was considered.
According to the head of the Department of Construction, Architecture and Urban Planning Berik Tanzharikov, 22.9 billion tenge has been allocated from the budget for the implementation of the Nurly Zher program this year. In total, 450.5 thousand square meters of housing are planned to be built and put into operation in the region this year.
According to the results of 4 months of this year, the main indicators of socio-economic development of the region remain positive dynamics. During the reporting period, 139.8 thousand square meters of housing were put into operation.
Next, we considered the issue of accessibility of sports infrastructure for the development of mass sports.
Currently, the network of sports facilities in the region includes 34 stadiums, 3 sports palaces, 53 sports complexes, 2 sports arenas, 21 swimming pools, 1008 sports grounds and 86 hockey courts. The total number of gyms located in the region is 638 units. Since 2019, 9 new sports and recreation complexes have been put into operation.
Also during the meeting, preparations for the anniversary XXXV Spartakiad of Kostanay region "Virgin Land-2022" were discussed. This year's Spartakiad will be held from July 21 to 24, 2022 on the territory of the Kamystinsky district. About 1,700 athletes from the national teams of districts and cities of the region are expected to arrive.
Following the meeting, the head of the region, Archimedes Mukhambetov, instructed the mayors of cities and districts, heads of regional administrations to ensure the timely commissioning of planned multi-storey residential buildings, and also to continue work on the execution of the instructions for the development of sports.
