Akim of Kostanay region Archimedes Mukhambetov held a meeting on the stabilization of prices for socially important food products, including the issue of providing the population with sugar. As it was said at the meeting, now there is a supply of sugar in the stabilization fund of food products of the region. It will be implemented through retail chains. In turn, retail chains will sell sugar to a limited extent, this will avoid the export of sugar outside the region.
Also, sugar will be purchased by suppliers through JSC "Food Corporation" in the near future. Additionally, the issue of importing sugar from other countries is being worked out. In addition, the head of the region instructed to allocate additional funds for socially significant food products.
A number of measures are being taken in this direction in the region. Akimats of cities and districts monitor socially significant food products on a daily basis.
