More than 19 billion tenge will be allocated for the repair of Kostanay roads

This year in Kostanay region it is planned to repair almost 300 kilometers of local roads and 184 sections of streets of settlements. This was announced during an expanded meeting of the Akimat of the region by the acting head of the Department of Passenger Transport and Highways Bulat Seydakhmetov.
"According to all programs, the budget of the road industry this year is 19.5 billion tenge. It is planned to repair 285 km of local roads and 184 sections of streets of settlements. Including the amount allocated under the state program "Nurly Zhol" is 13.4 billion tenge. Of the 28 projects, contractors have been identified for 13 objects. Competitive procedures are held at 15 facilities," B. Seydakhmetov said.
This year, it is planned to complete the implementation of a major project - the reconstruction of a section of the highway of regional significance Ayet - Varvarinskoye - the border of the region with access to the Russian Federation. The project costs three billion tenge. Already in December of this year, as the ministry assured, it is planned to complete the project. The implementation of this project will bring the characteristics of the highway to the III technical category, increasing the transport and logistics potential of the region.
"Within the framework of "Auyl-El besigi" construction and installation works will be carried out on 59 streets of rural settlements, in the amount of 2.5 billion tenge. The repair will cover 25 settlements, of which 12 are satellite, 11 are reference, and two are strategic. Out of 59 projects, contractors have been identified for 17 objects. Competitive procedures are carried out for 42 objects. At the expense of funds from the local budget, construction and installation works will be carried out at 127 facilities, in the amount of 3.5 billion tenge. Contractors have been identified for 74 projects, competitive procedures are being carried out for 53," he informed. Seydakhmetov.
By the end of this year, according to the department, the share of highways of regional and district significance that are in good and satisfactory condition in the region will be 83%. This will exceed the share of last year by 5%.
