A solemn event dedicated to March 8 was held in Kostanay

Mothers of many children were timed to the International Women's Day and honored with "Altyn alka" and "Kumis alka" pendants.
According to Akim of Kostanay region Archimedes Mukhambetov, today the beautiful half of humanity masters all spheres of life on an equal basis with men, often showing the best results.
- If we talk about the Kostanay region, our women actively participate in the social and political life of the region. Today, out of 267 deputies of maslikhats of all levels, about 40% (102 people) are women. Currently, out of more than 5,500 civil servants of the Okkolo region, 60% are representatives of the fair sex. It should be noted that 155 women hold senior positions in local executive bodies. Including: one deputy akim of the region, six heads of regional administrations, twenty-two deputy akims of cities and districts and heads of staff, thirty-one akims of rural districts. The image of a modern Kazakh woman is multifaceted: a woman politician, a woman entrepreneur, a woman public figure.... But the main mission of a woman was and remains the preservation of the family hearth," Archimedes Mukhambetov noted in his speech.⠀
On the eve of March 8, the akim of Kostanay region presented "Altyn alka" pendants to mothers with many children who gave birth and raised seven or more children. Awards were awarded to 7 people. Pendants "Kumis alka" were also awarded to mothers who gave birth and raised six children. 9 people received them. Мер
The invited guest at the gala concert was the famous Soviet and Kazakh film and theater actress, the performer of the role of Kyz-Zhibek in the 1969 film of the same name, Meruert Utekesheva.
-Meruert Karataevna Utekeshova played the main role in the film "Kyz Zhibek". In the history of the Kazakh people, Kyz Zhibek is considered the standard of wisdom, beauty and the keeper of the hearth. Meruert Karataevna Utekeshova, who played the main role in the film "Kyz Zhibek", undoubtedly became an example of Kazakh girls of our time," the head of the region noted.
After the ceremonial part, the audience was waiting for another gift - a festive concert dedicated to Kostanay artists.
