More than 440 violations of fire safety detected in commercial facilities of the Kostanay region

From April to June, in the Kostanay region 60 facilities were checked for fire safety, of which only one had no violations. Talgat Kakimov, the head of the Emergency Department of the Kostanay region, said this today during the meeting in the regional Akimat.

“On the instructions of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan from April to June, 60 inspections of high-risk trade facilities registered with the Department were conducted, including 8 shopping centers, 45 supermarkets, hypermarkets and trading houses, and 7 trading markets. Based on the results of inspections, only one facility was operated without violations - the Deluxe shopping center in the Karabalyk district. In the remaining 59 facilities 443 violations in the field of fire safety were identified, of which 315 are gross violations, 128 are significant and minor violations”, T. Kakimov said. Based on the results of the inspections, 59 legal entities were brought to administrative responsibility for KZT 462,962 and received assignments to eliminate the identified violations. “Based on the results of the assignment, business entities have eliminated the identified violations with the exception of 3 facilities - Astykzhan-Kostanay shopping center, Fininsite LLC, Central Universal Department Store shopping center, where violations were not fully eliminated. Materials were examined by the court, legal entities were brought to administrative responsibility for non-compliance with the assignment”, he added.

In addition, on the instructions of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Department checked 72 facilities of general education and pre-school private institutions in the period from April to June. 217 violations were revealed in the field of fire safety, according to the results of which 32 legal entities were brought to administrative responsibility for KZT 72,150. As a result of the inspections, assignments were issued to eliminate the identified violations. For failure to comply with the previously issued orders, 2 administrative cases were submitted to the court on Divny otdyh LLP, “Semeyny” nursery-garden of the city of Kostanay and “Zhastyk” kindergarten of the Sarykol district”, T. Kakimov concluded.
