Kostanay region includes 526 settlements, of which 6 cities and 48 rural settlements are provided with updated general plans, 320 are provided with outdated general plans, 152 have no general plans.
A total of 54 master plans were developed between 2007 and 2022.
To date, 71% of the provision of urban development projects in Kostanay region is 71% (374 master plans) in relation to the total number of settlements (526).
The phased development of simplified master plans for small villages with a population of less than five thousand for the period up to 2025 is defined by the Roadmap, according to which it is planned to provide 249 promising villages with master plans, of which 179 are provided with outdated master plans, 70 do not have master plans.
At the same time, the Roadmap does not include 223 settlements for which development is impractical due to low development potential, 141 of them are provided with existing master plans, 82 do not have master plans.
In 2023, at the expense of the regional budget, it is planned to develop master plans for 6 district centers (Sarykol, Karamendy, Karabalyk, Amangeldy, Denisovka, Torgai) for a total amount of 113.9 million tenge.
In accordance with the requirements of the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, information on the master plans of 80 settlements of Kostanay region is posted on the Internet resources of akimats of the region, cities and districts.
