Registers of notifications on technical barriers to trade, sanitary and phytosanitary measures are intended for informing state bodies, individuals and legal entities and their associations, unions, and other persons whose participation is provided for by international agreements of the Republic of Kazakhstan, whose activities are directly related to the development of normative legal acts in the field of technical regulation, sanitary and phytosanitary measures.
Notification registers are updated monthly by specialists of the TBT/SPS Information center.
The notification Registers contain the following information published by the WTO technical barriers to trade, sanitary and phytosanitary measures Committees:
on approved or developed regulatory legal acts in the field of technical regulation and sanitary and phytosanitary measures that may have a significant impact on international trade;
about development of projects, changes and (or) additions or cancellation of normative legal acts in the field of technical regulation and SPS measures;
on the development of projects, changes and (or) additions or cancellation of standards in the WTO member countries;
on existing or developing procedures for confirming the conformity of products and services;
on the sanitary or phytosanitary rules that have been adopted or are being developed;
on control and inspection procedures, production and quarantine regimes, approval procedures for acceptable levels of pesticides and food additives in the WTO member countries;
procedures for confirming the risk, factors taken into account, and determining the appropriate level of sanitary or phytosanitary protection;
about the sources of published drafts of developed and adopted normative legal acts in the field of technical regulation, SPS measures, standards or information about them.
