Open day at UAPF
As part of information and explanatory work among the population, the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund will hold an Open Day on August 27 in a new online format. Anyone who wants can use a special online platform and attend this event without leaving home.
The theme of the event is Your First Contribution - Welcome to the UAPF. As you know, from January 8, 2019, in accordance with the amendments to the Law on Pension Provision of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an individual does not need to contact the UAPF service offices to open an individual pension saving account (IPSA) for accounting for compulsory pension contributions (CPC). Note that over 1 million new accounts were opened in automatic mode in the first half of 2020 alone. The owners of these accounts will become special guests of this event and will be able to ask their questions to the specialists of UAPF JSC. They will be told about how the accumulative pension system of Kazakhstan functions, helped to calculate their eventual pension, and recommended the most efficient way to obtain information about the state of the individual pension saving account.
In addition, the purpose of this event is to comprehensively inform contributors on other issues related to the operation of the pension system.
