This year the accumulative pension system of Kazakhstan is celebrating its twenty-third birthday. During this time, a whole generation of new citizens of our country was born and grew up, and each of them is preparing for it in the near future or has already become a member of the pension system. Young people will no longer receive PAYG benefits, but they have a chance to receive a larger pension in the future than their parents or grandparents.
Today's youth will participate in the full cycle of the accumulative pension system, i.e. 40 years and longer. It is important for today's students to know that a formal salary and an employment contract with an employer, coupled with regular contributions, is the key to their future success.
