We remind you that in accordance with Article 337 of the Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, business entities planning or carrying out entrepreneurial activities for the collection, sorting and (or) transportation of waste, recovery and (or) destruction of non-hazardous waste are required to submit a notification of the beginning or termination of activities to the authorized body in the field of environmental protection (Ministry of Ecology geology and natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan) in accordance with the procedure established by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Permits and Notifications".
We note that it is prohibited to carry out business activities for the collection, sorting and (or) transportation of waste, recovery and (or) destruction of non-hazardous waste without notification.
As of January 31, 2024, 86 business entities of Kostanay region received a coupon for receiving notification of the beginning or termination of activities in the field of waste management.
