The draft decision of the Kostanay regional maslikhat “On making additions to the decision of the maslikhat dated February 2, 2018 No. 229 “On determining the list of socially significant messages” was developed in accordance with subparagraph 5) of paragraph 1 of Article 14 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Road Transport”, in accordance with chapter 2 of paragraph 5 of the Rules for subsidizing at the expense of budgetary funds the losses of carriers associated with the implementation of socially significant transportation of passengers, approved by order of the Acting Minister for Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated August 25, 2015 No. 883. The purpose of adopting this draft decision is to recognize the routes to the category of socially significant. The adoption of the draft decision will increase the profitability of passenger traffic and prevent the closure of regular services.
