Problems of Corruption and ways to solve it
Corruption has a long history and is inextricably linked with the development of human society. The historical roots of corruption go back to the tradition of making gifts to gain favor. An expensive gift set a person apart from other petitioners and helped to ensure that his request was heard and fulfilled.
Corruption is one of the most destructive and complex problems worldwide, transmitted in the form of bribes, which leads to disastrous consequences, deterioration of the quality of life, an increase in the number of poor and the destruction of public trust.
The negative phenomenon of corruption crimes has a significant impact on the formation of moral and ideological foundations in society. As a result, the population develops a high tolerance of all major segments of society for corruption, and a condescending attitude towards this phenomenon is formed. Corruption can become systemic.
The tightening of laws is clearly not enough to solve the above problem, therefore, organizations are also responsible for actively contributing to the fight against corruption. This can be achieved by implementing an anti-corruption system in organizations, in accordance with the requirements of ST RK 3049-2017 "Anti-corruption management system. Requirements and application guidelines". The requirements of this standard are general and intended for use by all organizations, regardless of their type, size and nature of activity.
Careful planning, creation, informal implementation and effective functioning of the anti-corruption management system will allow organizations to significantly minimize corruption risks, ensure compliance of the organization's activities with anti-corruption legislation and voluntary obligations and demonstrate to interested parties your work on the implementation of anti-corruption control procedures.
