RESOLUTION OF THE KARABALIK REGIONAL ELECTION COMMISSION
On the appointment of elections for July 7, 2020

In accordance with Article 36-1 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 23, 2001 “On Local Government and Self-Government in the Republic of Kazakhstan”, in connection with the end of the state of emergency on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, introduced by decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 15, 2020 No. 285 “On the introduction of a state of emergency in the Republic of Kazakhstan”, by the expiration of the term of office of the akim of the village of Pobeda, Karabalyk district, the Karabalyk district election commission DECIDES:
1. To appoint elections of akim of the village of Pobeda on July 7, 2020
Karabalyk district.
2. Set the deadlines:
1) nomination of candidates for akims from June 7 to June 11, 2020;
2) registration of candidates for akims from June 7 to June 21, 2020.
3. To approve the Schedule of the main activities for the preparation and conduct of the election of the akim of the village of Pobeda, Karabalyk district, scheduled for July 7, 2020.
4. Electoral events shall be held in accordance with the Constitutional Law “On Elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan” and the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 23, 2001 “On Local Government and Self-Government in the Republic of Kazakhstan”.
5. To forward this resolution to the akim of the Karabalyk region, the secretary of the Karabalyk district maslikhat.
6. To publish this resolution in the regional newspaper "Aina".
