The population of the rural district as of January 1, 2023 is 7023 (6941 people in 2021), there is a positive trend in population growth compared to 2021 (+82 people), mainly due to internal migration within the district, but it is worth noting a small outflow of population from the village of Priozernoye. In general, migration outflow processes are within the norm, residents of the district migrate to nearby cities of the region and outside the Republic of Kazakhstan. 67.5% of the population of the district is economically active (66.2% in 2021), 51.7% is female, 48.3% is male.
The main employers in the district are SMEs and the public sector, there are 12 LLP with 208 employees, 23 peasant farms with 73 employees and 146 individual entrepreneurs with 325 employees.
As of January 1, 2023, there are the following livestock: cattle – 1,478 heads, horses – 260 heads, sheep and goats – 1,264 heads, pigs – 520 heads, birds of all kinds – 12,124 heads. Veterinary treatments were carried out according to the Plan of veterinary and preventive measures for 2022.
Large agricultural enterprises - Tobolsk Elevator LLP, Olzha storoge LLP are grain receiving points for receiving, storing and shipping grain. Tobolsk Elevator LLP has a total grain storage capacity of 120 thousand tons of grain, licensed – 111 thousand tons. Olzha storoge LLP has a total grain storage capacity of 40 thousand tons.
In 2022 , the following works were carried out in the village of Tobol :
