Information about new measures of state support in the tourism industry.
According to Article 12 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On tourism activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan" No. 211 dated June 13, 2001, from January 1, 2022, the competence of local executive bodies (akimats) of the regions includes reimbursement of part of the costs of business entities during the construction and reconstruction of objects of tourist activity, construction of roadside service facilities, for the purchase of motor vehicles for business entities engaged in tourism activities, as well as subsidizing part of the costs of business entities for the maintenance of sanitary and hygienic facilities.
According to the approved Rules for these state support measures, business entities send relevant applications to the local executive body (Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial and Innovative Development of the Akimat of Kostanay region) by March 1 of the calendar year , with the exception of subsidizing part of the costs of maintaining sanitary and hygienic units, where applications are submitted from the first business day until December 1 of the calendar year.
It should also be noted that the reimbursement of part of the costs of business entities during the construction and reconstruction of objects of tourist activity and roadside services applies to those objects the act of commissioning of which was made from January 1, 2022.
The list of documents and information on the timing of the provision of state support is specified in the relevant Rules approved by the Orders of the Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 10, 2021 No. 382, dated December 30, 2021 No. 411, dated December 30, 2021 No. 412, dated December 31, 2021 year number 415.
