On February 17, 2022, we received a collective appeal from the residents of the village of Elizavetinka on the issue of renaming the village of Elizavetinka to the village of Baishuak, the Naberezhny rural district to the rural district of Baishuak, as well as the renaming of the streets Clubnaya - Dostyk, Logovaya - Tauelsizdik, Korchagina - Beybitshilik, 50 years of October - Dinmukhamed Konaev, Park - Zyukov N.A.
In accordance with the current legislation, decisions on these issues are made at a meeting of the local community.
According to paragraph 10 of Article 39-3 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 23, 2001 "On Local State Administration and Self-Government in the Republic of Kazakhstan", the chairman and secretary of the local community meeting are elected by open vote to conduct the local community meeting.

Exploring the old historical name of our settlement, it would be advisable to rename it to the village of Baishuak.

She noted that the first mention of our land falls on the 18th century, in 1875 there was an aul, there is documentary evidence, and Baishuak is the name of the land, which means “lit by the sun”. We live in an independent state and therefore we need to revive our traditions. By renaming our village with a historical name, we will perpetuate the memory of our land.

Kazakhstan is a multinational country, everyone's opinion should be respected. I support the idea of renaming the village. The historical name of the village Baishuak should be returned. All the old-timers say that the village was called Baishuak.
