There are events over which time has no control : the further the years go, the more clearly their greatness and eternal significance for the destinies of many, many people becomes. For our village, this day is November 4, 1954.
It is from this memorable day that the history of our village begins.
State farm "Viktorovsky" was organized in 1954 on the basis of the unbundling of the state farm "Aman-Karagaysky" and the lands of the collective farm named after Voroshilov.
Picaz No. 1 on the state farm "Viktorovsky" read: "On the basis of the order of the Ministry of State Farms of the USSR of 23.10.1954 and the order of the Kustanai State Forest of Grain state farms of the Kazakh SSR of 5.11.1954, No. 410, to form the state farm "Viktorovsky" from November 9 of this year, to appoint Andrey Kovalev as director." From the memoirs of the first director of the state farm "Viktorovsky" Kovalev A. F.: "I, as a communist and a participant in the Great Patriotic War, was summoned to the district party committee in the city of Penza and offered, as having experience in organizing work, to go to the virgin land in the Kostanay region. Here, in the district party committee, I met Grigory Grigoryevich Gavrilchenko, who recently graduated from the Penza Agricultural Institute. We met and talked. I offered him to go together with me, to be an agronomist in a new state farm, Having arrived in the Kostanay region, we went to Gostrest, I was offered to organize a state farm near the village of Jaltyr. We arrived with Gavrilchenko G. G., looked. All around the steppe, there is no lake, the water is far away. As I drove on, I noticed a plain lying in a ditch, not far from the Tobol River. This is where we scored the first peg on November 4, 1954. The state farm was located five kilometers from the village of Karatomar. To conduct more operational work on the arrangement of the central estate, an office was temporarily located here.»
The first agronomist of the new state farm was appointed Gavrilchenko G. G., engineer-Kubyshkin S. P., accountant-Grishin (name has not been preserved). Order No. 2 of 10.10 1954. "To conduct more operational work on the construction of the central estate of the state farm "Viktorovsky", establish a temporary stay of the central office in the village of Karatomar in the Zatobolsky district, 5 km from the construction site of the central estate of the state farm."
So began the history of the village of Beregovoe. State farm "Viktorovsky" is located in the Beimbet Maylin district of Kostanay region on the bank of the Tobol River-hence the name "Beregovoe". The waters of the Karatomar reservoir are splashing near the houses, and the chimneys of the industrial town of Rudny are smoking fifteen kilometers from the village. The distance from the regional center of Kostanay is 65 km, the district center of the village of Ayet is 42 km. The loading and unloading point of the state farm is the railway station Tobol, located 55 km from the central estate Beregovoe.
The village council was given the name "Kalininsky". In the future, six production departments were planned and operated: Lugovoye, Nagornoye, Ozernoye, Karamsak, Dzhaltyr, Eltay with a central estate in the village of Beregovoye. When the state farm "Viktorovsky" was established, 58,684 hectares of land were secured, including 37,249 hectares of arable land. Currently, the land area of the Kalininsky rural district is 62940 hectares. The main direction of the economy is grain, with the development of dairy and meat animal husbandry. Construction has begun. Along with the houses and streets grew trees planted by the hands of young enthusiasts on subbotniks and Sundays. In the period before 1957, a school, a club, a hospital, a shop, and an office were built. The first teachers in the primary school of the state farm were Antonina Grigoryevna Gavrilchenko and Zoya Ivanovna Petrovna, the first doctor of the hospital of the village of Beregovoe was Nikolai Ivanovich Redkin.In 1964, the construction of a dam across the Tobol River began, and in 1965, the beautiful Karatomar reservoir was formed.
According to the technical and economic indicators for the adjustment of the project of planning and development of the economic centers of the state farm "Viktorovsky" dated February 28, 1980, three production departments were organized in the state farm for the future: number 1 at the central estate of the village of Beregovaya, number 2 at the village of Nagorny, 8 km from the central US., number 3 at the village of Eltai, 35 km from the central us., land 586-84 hectares, of which arable land 37667 hectares. Eight-year schools, kindergartens, canteens, clubs, libraries, dormitories grew up on the departments, the plan for housing construction was implemented annually, up to forty families a year received novo ezhilye. The activities of the state farm "Viktorovsky" were managed by excellent specialists: Kovalev Andrey Fedorovich, Gavrilchenko Grigory Grigoryevich, Meshkov Vitaly Alekseevich, Derkach Viktor Vasilyevich, Yudt Viktor Frantsevich, Kulik Ivan Illarionovich.
Today, the basis of the economy of the district is the farm of "Viktorovskoe" LLP, the farm is managed by a skilled organizer, a competent specialist Kulik Ivan Illarionovich. He pays a lot of attention to the improvement, development of social facilities; provides assistance to pensioners; in the villages of the district there is a water supply system, summer irrigation.
On September 12, 2003, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev visited the village of Beregovoye. The Head of State gave a high assessment of the activity of the farm. Currently, 17 nationalities live in the district. The population is engaged in animal husbandry, field farming and the management of personal subsidiary farms, is 2769 people. There are three villages: Beregovoye, Nagornoye, and Yubileynoye with the entire social sphere functioning: three medical institutions, three libraries, two secondary and one primary schools, a Cultural center and a village club.

For the welfare of the population in the district, it is planned to gasify the village of Beregovoye.
