  1. The Republic of Kazakhstan received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development to finance the costs of the project “Irrigation and Drainage Improvement Project, Phase 2” and intends to use part of the proceeds of this loan for payments under Contract KZIDIP-2/G-NCB-01 “Purchase of special machinery and equipment for cleaning irrigation canals”.

 

  1. The Committee of Water Management of the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation of the Republic of Kazakhstan invites eligible bidders to participate in the bidding and submit sealed bids for the supply of special equipment and equipment for cleaning irrigation channels. The delivery time is 90 days.

 

  1. Competitive bidding will be conducted under national competitive bidding procedures in accordance with the World Bank's Guidelines: Guidelines for Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services by World Bank Borrowers under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and Grants (“Procurement Guidelines”, January 2011), and is open to all eligible bidders in accordance with what is defined in the “Procurement Guidelines”. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 for the World Bank's conflict of interest policy.

 

  1. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Committee of Water Management of the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, contact person - Anar Temirbekova - chief procurement specialist of the Project management unit “Irrigation and Drainage Improvement Project, Phase 2”, e-mail - idip@mail.ru, with a copy by e-mail idip.procurement@gmail.com and examine the bidding documents during working hours from 09:00-13:00 and 14:30-18:30 Monday through Friday, except public holidays at the address below.

 

  1. A complete set of bidding documents in Russian will be sent by e-mail in pdf format to interested bidders after submission of a formal written Application to the e-mail address: idip@mail.ru , with a copy on idip.procurement@gmail.com.

 

  1. Bids must be delivered to the address below no later than 4:30 p.m. on June 25, 2025. No electronic bidding will be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of representatives of Bidders who wish to attend in person at the address below at 4:30 p.m. on June 25, 2025.

 

  1. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in the amount of 5,000,000 Kazakhstani Tenge.
