Chairman of NSC Congratulated Employees of SFS "A"

On November 22, the Chairman of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Lieutenant General Karim Massimov held a solemn event on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the formation of the Special Forces Service "A".

The chairman congratulated the veterans, employees and family members of officers who died in the line of duty, and also wished everyone good health and success in their difficult service for the good of the Homeland.

He noted that the employees of Service “A” are brave and decisive people with unbending will, real patriots who are in constant combat readiness to promptly respond to threats to national security. The right to be an officer of the Service can only be military personnel who have passed a rigorous selection for physical, psychological and intellectual qualities.

For reference: Special Forces Service "A" was established on November 22, 2016 by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The unit is the legal successor of the legendary “Arystan” Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan and acts as the “fighting wing” of the NSC.

Its main task is the fight against terrorism and military support for operational activities of the national security agencies.

The special unit is equipped with the latest weapons and advanced equipment, the fighters undergo special training in overload conditions to perform the most difficult tasks.
