Suppression of Illegal Migration Channel

The Department of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the North Kazakhstan region, together with the Border Service, suppressed the channel of illegal migration organized by the residents of Petropavlovsk.

 

 

It was established that the persons involved in it in a residential apartment deployed an "underground" workshop for the production of fake documents (conclusions of the medical and consulting commission of the territorial outpatient clinic to confirm the diagnosis and urgency of treatment, according to form 026/y, letters of invitation from foreign medical organizations for treatment, PCR tests), which, for a monetary reward, provided citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan to freely cross the state border with the Russian Federation during the period of quarantine restrictions associated with the coronavirus pandemic.

 

 

In the course of the searches, the seals of Kazakhstani and Russian medical organizations, the conclusions of the PCR tests of the clinical diagnostic laboratory and polyclinics of the region, money and others were seized.

On this fact, a pre-trial investigation is being carried out under Article 394, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the fact of illegal migration by providing forged documents by a group of persons by prior conspiracy.
