Special Services of the CIS Countries in the Exercise "Caspian-Antiterror-2021" work out the Protection of Marine Infrastructure from Terrorist Attacks

On the territory of eight states of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the implementation of the joint anti-terrorist exercise of the CIS member states "Caspian-Antiterror-2021" has begun.

The purpose of the event is to work out interdepartmental and interstate cooperation, as well as to prepare the competent authorities of the Commonwealth countries for practical actions to suppress terrorist acts at the facilities of the maritime infrastructure and the oil and gas industry.

The armed phase of the exercise with the development of practical skills for neutralizing the threats of terrorist attacks at sea transport facilities will be held on the territory and water area of the seaport of Aktau, Mangistau region.

Simulation of explosions and blank-firing is allowed during the exercise and ask citizens to treat the events with understanding and remain calm.
