Chairman of the NSC Congratulated the Servicemen of the Border Service

On August 17, 2021, on the eve of the Day of the Border Guard, the Chairman of the National Security Committee, Lieutenant General of National Security K. Massimov, visited the “Bayankol” Border Department of the Almaty region, where he addressed the personnel and veterans of the department with congratulations and wished them success in the responsible service for the protection of the sacred borders of the Homeland.

Ensuring reliable defence and protection of the State Border is the most important task of the Committee and is under the close scrutiny of the country's leadership.

Taking into account new threats and challenges, the Border Service was reformed and integrated into the system of national security agencies.

It is symbolic that on the eve of the signing of the Decree on the establishment of the Border Service of independent Kazakhstan in 1992, the First President - Elbasy Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev visited the “Bayankol” outpost in the Almaty region.
