Service Dog "Dingo"

Cynologists of the Border Service are often involved in raiding activities. It is important for the cooperating authorities to provide an "express check" in the busy flows of passengers and transport, where dog handlers come to the rescue with their specially trained pets.

For obvious reasons, this interaction is especially active in the border areas. Within the framework of operational and preventive measures aimed at identifying persons involved in drug trafficking, jointly with the Department of Internal Affairs of the Zhambyl region, on August 4 this year on the highway "Kainar-Kordai" citizen "R" was detained.

When checking his vehicles, the border guard's service dog named "Dingo" gave the appropriate designation. During the inspection of the passenger compartment, a package with a green substance of plant origin with a specific smell, dark green in color, was found. The forensic examination showed that the seized substance was hashish with a total weight of 889 grams and 600 mg.

This fact was registered in the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations on the grounds of a crime provided for in part 3 of article 296 "Illegal handling of narcotic drugs on a large scale" of the Criminal Code. The procedural actions are carried out by the Department of Internal Affairs of the Zhambyl region.
