On July 18, 2021, in the village of Karaterek, Ualikhanov district, North Kazakhstan region, a serviceman of the Border Service Department of the NSC Aydin Tursyngazyuly rescued a two-year-old boy who fell into a container with water dug into the ground.
The kid could have died if he hadn’t been near the specified serviceman, who, while bypassing the border area, heard a child's cry and rushed to help. Finding him already in an unconscious state, A. Tursingazuly began to provide first aid in the form of artificial respiration and chest compressions, after which the child woke up. At present, his condition is stable.
In such a critical situation, the border guard did not lose his head and, having training in first aid, made the right decision and saved the boy's life.
