Measures Taken after Aviation Accident

To clarify the accident, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan has created an expert commission from among representatives of the National Security Committee, the Ministries of Defense and Internal Affairs.

 

Currently, the members of the commission are at the crash site of the aircraft. The flight recorder (so-called "black box") has been removed. Work is underway to decrypt the data, the results of which will be announced in the near future.

 

Psychologists work with relatives and friends, and specialists from Hospital of the NSC in the city of Almaty are involved in providing medical care.

 

The flight of E. Vasilkov's parents from Petropavlovsk to Almaty was organized by a special dedicated board.

 

The National Security Committee is working to provide the necessary material and other assistance to the families of the fallen and injured soldiers, including for the organization of ritual events.
