On March 4, 2021, the Department of the National Security Committee (NSC) for the Zhambyl region at the “Karasu” automobile checkpoint during the inspection of a “Reno RV1” car en route from Bishkek (Kyrgyz Republic) to Yekaterinburg (Russian Federation) under the control of a citizen of Kyrgyzstan revealed spare parts from armored vehicles (MT-LB). According to the documents, the items passed as spare parts for the undercarriage of the “T-150 RZh” tractor.
The detained cargo was transferred to the Department of State Revenues for the Zhambyl region.
March 5 this year at the same checkpoint, the illegal export from Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan of a large consignment of medicines, over 50 boxes of various names, was once again prevented. There were no permits for the transported cargo, the estimated cost of medicines was about 48 million tenge.
It should be noted that this is not the first attempt to illegally export medicines from the territory of Kazakhstan over the past week.
Kazakhstani border guards continue active measures to block channels of illegal crossing of the border and movement of contraband goods.
