On the Commissioning of the Point Maneuverable Basing "Abai"

• On December 10, 2020, in the seaport of “Quryq”, a ceremony was held for the commissioning of the “Abai” maneuverable base point, built by the Ural factory “Zenit”.

 

• The maneuverable base point is designed for mooring, parking and servicing ships, boats and vessels. The use of the berth will greatly facilitate the work of border guards, increase the efficiency of ships and boats, and their autonomy. It will provide logistical and electrical supplies and prompt response to various threats to protect sea borders. The vessel meets the most modern environmental safety requirements.

 

• The event was attended by the regional akim S. Trumov, honored guests - the general director of the Ural factory "Zenit" Valiev V.Kh., representatives of the Department of Internal Affairs, Emergency Situations Department of the Republic of Kazakhstan, veterans of the Border Service of the NSC "Zastava Tarlandary".

 

• In his speech, the regional akim noted that strengthening the southern part of the Caspian Sea is one of the priorities in ensuring the security of our state.

 

• The ceremony continued with the presentation of the naval frontier flag and a plate to the commander of the the maneuverable base point "Abai", the participants went out to sea and the parade of ships and boats was received.
