Results of the Joint Border Operation "Solidarity"

• In the period from October 20 to November 30, 2020, the Border Service of the NSC of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the joint border operation "Solidarity".

 

• The operation was carried out in accordance with the decision of the heads of state of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and was aimed at suppressing illegal activities in the border space.

 

• The actions of the Border Service of the NSC suppressed 254 facts of offenses in the field of protecting the state border of the Republic of Kazakhstan, about 2 kg of drugs, 17 units of firearms, 126 ammunition, 3 publications of literature of religious extremist content were withdrawn from illegal circulation.

 

• In addition, 7 attempts of economic smuggling were prevented for a total amount of over 11 million tenge.

 

• The necessary criminal procedural measures were taken for each fact of detention.
