Results of the Operational and Preventive Measure "Karasora-2020"

• From June 1 to October 31, 2020, the Border Service of the NSC, within the framework of the republican operational and preventive measure "Karasora-2020", aimed at countering drug trafficking, curb criminal behaviors of 68 persons in the border space, includфing citizens of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

 

• Prompt actions were taken to identify channels for drug smuggling and transportation routes across the State Border.

 

• More than 77 kg of narcotic drugs were withdrawn from the illegal turnover, 3 “subsidiary farms” for the cultivation of cannabis plants were found and liquidated in the border settlements. With the involvement of representatives of local authorities and territorial internal affairs bodies, 15 hectares of wild hemp were destroyed.

 

• The necessary criminal procedural measures were taken for each fact of detention.

 

• The Border Service continues to actively combat drug trafficking in its daily tasks.
