Illegal smuggling of narcotic drugs and tobacco products

In the period from 14 to 15 October this year, the Department of the Border Service in the West Kazakhstan region (at the checkpoint "Taskala") suppressed attempts to smuggle drugs and tobacco products.

In particular, border guards using a special service dog identified citizens of the Russian Federation who, during the search, found a gray-green drug (presumably marijuana) weighing about 7.5 grams and tobacco products weighing about 2 tons.

The detainee with a narcotic drug was transferred to the district police department, and the cargo with tobacco products was transferred to employees of the Department of State Revenues of the West Kazakhstan region for making a procedural decision.
