Detention of medical equipment

October 13 this year the Department of the Border Service in the West Kazakhstan region (at the checkpoint "Taskala") suppressed an attempt to transport medical equipment without the appropriate documents. A border guard during the inspection of a truck, coming from the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation found 2120 thermometers among the cargo. The preliminary cost of the delayed cargo is 53 million tenge.

The detained cargo was handed over to the employees of the State Revenue Department for the WKO for making a procedural decision.
