Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev took part in the plenary session of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan

President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev spoke at a meeting of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan today.
During his speech, the President noted that social justice remains the most important issue. The Head of State recalled that Kazakhstan is a social state under the Constitution.
"Today I am instructing to create a public social fund "Kazakhstan Khalkyna". He will be engaged in solving real problems in the field of healthcare, education, and social support.
For example, helping children with rare diseases. After all, for most families, the cost of treatment is simply unaffordable.
We will build sports facilities for children in cities, districts, towns, villages. We will assist capable children. Let's support the culture. We will help Almaty recover from a terrible tragedy. From the funds of this Fund, we will support the families of the deceased policemen and servicemen.
And these are just some examples.
I would like to emphasize that this is not a foundation of the President, the Government or any other state body. This is the fund of all Kazakhstanis, the People's Fund.
It will not function under the Administration or the Government.
An authoritative supervisory board will be created, an honest and responsible head will be appointed. We will ensure full transparency of its activities, accountability and accountability to society," Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.
