A draft order on approval of marginal prices and margins for medicines and medical products within the framework of the GOBMP and in the OSMS system has been published

The portal "Open NPAs" published a draft order of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On approval of marginal prices and margins for medicines and (or) medical devices within the guaranteed volume of free medical care and (or) in the system of compulsory social health insurance".

The draft order was developed in accordance with subparagraph 95) of Article 7 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 7, 2020 "On the health of the people and the healthcare system".

The regulatory legal act provides for the approval of marginal prices for the international nonproprietary name of a medicinal product or a technical characteristic of a medical product, the trade name of a medicinal product or medical product, as well as the approval of margins for medicines and medical products within the framework of the GOBMP and in the OSMS system.

It should be noted that the project complies with international treaties ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan and decisions of international organizations to which the Republic of Kazakhstan is a party.

Currently, the draft order is sent for scientific anti-corruption expertise and for approval by accredited associations and the public council.

The public discussion of the project will last until July 12, 2021.
