Kazakhstan had provided humanitarian aid to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan

In accordance with the decision of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan № 794 of November 29 2017 Republic of Kazakhstan had provided humanitarian aid to the friendly nation of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan of 56 wagons totaling 819 million and 209 thousands tenge including:

- Wheat flour of higher- and second-grade;

- Tinned meat and dried vegetables.

Official representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan, director of branch «Vysota» of the Republican state enterprise «Reserve» of the Committee on State material reserves of the Ministry of Defense and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhakanov A. K., gave a humanitarian assistance to official representative of the afghan side – director of help and compensation of the executive branch of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Islamuddin Secandari at the station Hayroton, province Balh.

During transition of the first instalment of humanitarian aid, coming to the station Hayroton on 2 January 2018, was held a press – conference involving the media and Representative of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. On the same day information about Republic of Kazakhstan humanitarian aid was transferred through local and republican media. The second and third party of humanitarian aid came to the station Hayroton on 5 and 13 January 2018.

The people of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan were grateful to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for humanitarian aid.
