On changing the procedure for the import of vehicles by legal entities

        In accordance with paragraph 8 of the technical regulations of the Customs Union «On the safety of wheeled vehicles», approved by the Decision of the Commission of the Customs Union of On December 9, 2011, No. 877, the documents certifying compliance with the requirements of the technical regulations upon release into circulation for vehicles, the conformity assessment of which was carried out in the form of type approval, is the approval of the type of vehicle.   

       At the same time, according to the explanation of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, vehicles, from the date of manufacture of which less than 3 years have passed, have the right to import only entities with the registration of an ATV, using subparagraph b) of paragraph 10 of the Rules for the import into the customs territory of the EAEU of products subject to mandatory conformity assessment in the customs territory of the EAEU, approved by the Decision of the EEC Council No. 130 dated November 12, 2021.

       In turn, the use of ATV is allowed only if the declarant of such products is a person specified in the ATV.

       We inform you that this measure will be introduced from December 1, 2024.
