Training in working with scanning equipment and image analysis of X-ray devices

       FromNovember7, 2024toNovember9, 2024, The Training-methodicalcenter of the StateRevenueCommittee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan(hereinafter-TMC)conducted a full-time special courseforemployees of the territorialstaterevenuebodies and Border Service of NSC RK on the topic:"Training in workingwithscanningequipmentandimageanalysis of X-raydevices"(hereinafter- X-raydevices) inZhetysuregion customs points "Altynkol-zhol"andICBC"Khorgos".

       The purpose: to improve the quality of controlatbordercheckpoints,where the integratedsystemisequipmentandcrew, the implementation by X-raydevicesoperators of a qualifiedanalysis of scannedimageswithdata on the contents of submitteddocuments.

       The main topics of the program:

      - Improving weapon detection skills; - detection of explosives and detonation devices;

      - Preventing the smuggling of drugs and other illegally transported goods; -description and application of X-ray television installations. As part of the event, participants:

     - familiarized with modern profiling methods;

     - investigated the identification of passengers who want to commit a terrorist act based on non-verbal signs;

     -on the detection of signs of hiddenweapons,explosives,ammunitionand the suppression of attempts to illegallytransportprohibitedsubstancesandcontrabandgoods

     The teachers and lecturers of the training event were the staff of the TMC: L. T. Kasymkulova -Deputy Head of the TMC;

     Kasymbekov A. P.-chief specialist of TMC;

     DuisenbayevaK.V.-the chiefspecialist of the TMC.

     As a result of the event, 31 participants were trained, 30 participants of them successfully passed the final testing and received the appropriate certificates. One participant did not reach the threshold.
