Bilateral meeting of the State Revenue Committee with a Member of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission

      On October 21, 2024, Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) Zhandos Duisembiev took part in a bilateral meeting with Member of the Board (Minister) for Customs Cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) R. V. Davydov. The meeting focused on the implementation of digital solutions in the activities of Kazakhstan’s state revenue authorities.

      During the meeting, the SRC  presented information on the active work being carried out to digitalize and optimize customs processes. One of the key projects in this area is the development of the new customs information system “Keden”.

     The SRC also emphasized the work done to simplify and accelerate customs administration procedures during the customs transit of goods transported by railways.

     In conclusion, the participants agreed on further conceptual approaches to the development of customs regulation within the Eurasian Economic Community, as well as cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Commission and the SRC Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan.
