Оn the meeting of representatives of the State Revenue Committee MF RK and the General Customs Administration PRC on cooperation in the field of customs risk management

       On August 9, 2024, Astana hosted a working meeting of representatives of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the General Customs Administration of the People's Republic of China on cooperation in the field of customs risk management.

      During the working meeting, issues related to the draft «Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of customs risk management «CA – China», interaction on risks related to ensuring access security at entry and exit from border customs posts between Kazakhstan and China, as well as pilot projects on operating modes at checkpoints between Kazakhstan and China were discussed.

      Following the meeting, the participants agreed to continue working on the formation of final drafts of the reviewed documents and continue the dialogue on them, as well as, by making joint efforts, achieve even greater results in matters of cooperation in the field of customs.

     The Parties expressed gratitude for the productive and constructive discussion of topical issues and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation.
