Information security in state revenue bodies

       On June 25, 2024, an online seminar was held in the frame of the interaction between the Training- Methodical Center of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Customs Institute of the Customs Committee of the Ministry of economics and finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the topic "Information security in state revenue bodies".

      The main focus of the seminar is to familiarize students with the basic concepts and practical aspects of information protection, which is especially important in the context of constantly growing threats to modern information systems.

The lecturers were:

– Berik Zhunissov - Head of the Information Security Department of the SRC MF RK

– Lazzat Kassymkulova - Deputy head of the TMC SRC MF RK

    The trainees were students of the Customs Institute and employees of the TMC MF RK.

     During the seminar, the key aspects of information security, threats and vulnerabilities of modern information systems, as well as security tools were considered. The participants were active by asking relevant questions.

     As a result of the seminar, the students gained valuable knowledge that will help them understand the importance of data protection and put into practice the principles of information security in their future professional activities.
