State Revenue Committee resumed administration measures from first day of June 2020.

Starting from 1 June of this year, the terms for conducting tax and customs inspections and executing notifications for Desk control will be resumed. This was reported by the state revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan.

During the state of  Emergency, the Head of state instructed to support small and medium-sized businesses, including reducing the tax burden.

Within the framework of the Resolutions of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, measures for compulsory collection of arrears on tax, customs and social payments, accrual of penalties, suspension of expenditure operations, extended deadlines for submitting declarations, etc. have been suspended. Deferred tax and other payments are presented. In order to reduce fiscal pressure on business, tax and customs inspections and in-house control have been suspended.

At the same time, due to the end of the state of  Emergency, starting from June 1 of this year, the terms for conducting tax and customs inspections and executing notifications for Desk control are resumed. In addition, the automatic mode resumes sending notifications to taxpayers about the repayment of tax arrears and social payments, on the basis of which further methods and measures of enforcement will be applied. The activity of appeal commissions is resumed.

In this regard, the state revenue Committee draws Your attention to the timely response and not missing deadlines for the fulfillment of tax obligations within the established time frame. At the same time, taxpayers are entitled to receive a deferred or installment payment of taxes secured by property or a Bank guarantee, in accordance with the procedure established by the Tax code, for a period of up to three years.

We remind you that in the case of Desk control, notifications can be executed by submitting tax returns or explanations in electronic form through the taxpayer's Office.
