The draft Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the invalidation of certain decisions of the Government of the Republic"

The Draft Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On recognizing as invalid some decisions of the Government of the Republic” (hereinafter referred to as the Draft) was prepared as part of ongoing measures for decentralization and in the implementation of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 16, 2023 “On amendments and additions to certain legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on issues of administrative reform of the Republic of Kazakhstan”.

In this connection, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan was instructed to develop the specified Draft for recognition as invalid Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated August 21, 2001 "On approval of the list of leased items to which the customs regime of temporary importation of goods and vehicles is applied" No. 1092 and the amendments made to it.

The purpose of this Draft is to invalidate the specified normative legal act, in view of the decentralization of powers between the levels of government, in terms of transferring functions from the Government level to the authorized body.
