On the progress of the execution of the Prime Minister's order to increase the capacity at the border with China

     On Monday, March 13, a meeting was held under the leadership of Prime Minister But.Smailova on increasing the capacity of checkpoints on the border with China. The State Revenue Committee, the Border Service, together with NCE RK "Atameken" and other government agencies, carried out a set of measures to increase export-import operations at the Nur Zholy checkpoint. 

       The opening hours of the checkpoint have been increased, visa support is provided to carriers and drivers of Kazakhstan, the functionality of the electronic queue system is being improved. The Akimat of the region and local law enforcement agencies provide support to ensure law and order. 

        NCE RK "Atameken" conducts explanatory work with carriers and participants of foreign economic activity on the need to comply with all legal requirements for entry into the People's Republic of China. 

       As a result of the work carried out from March 14 to 17, the passage of goods from China to Kazakhstan tripled and amounted to more than 500 cars per day. Departure from Kazakhstan to China has doubled and reached an average of 200 vehicles per day. 

       Work on increasing trade turnover and the capacity of checkpoints on the border with China will continue.
