PRESS RELEASE to the Order on amendments to the Order of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 21, 2018 No. 617 "On Approval of the Declaration Form on Assets and Liabilities of an Individual and the Rules for its Compilation"

         Order on Amendments to the Order of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 21, 2018 No. 617 "On approval of the Declaration Form on Assets and Liabilities of an Individual and the Rules for its compilation" (hereinafter – The Order) was developed in order to bring into line with the amendments to Articles 631 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Taxes and Other Mandatory Payments to the Budget" (Tax Code) and 45-2 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Amendments and Additions to and the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the Enactment of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Taxes and Other mandatory payments to the budget" (Tax Code)", providing for the need to submit a declaration of assets and liabilities by individuals, in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Combating Corruption", anti-corruption restrictions on the opening and possession of accounts (deposits), as well as the storage of cash and valuables in foreign banks located outside the Republic of Kazakhstan, which reflect information about the availability of money in foreign banks located outside the Republic of Kazakhstan, regardless of bank deposit amounts as well as securities, derivative financial instruments (PFI) (with the exception of PFI, the execution of which takes place through the acquisition or sale of the underlying asset), digital assets, including outside the Republic of Kazakhstan.
