Meeting of Vice-Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Birzhanov with residents of Zhambyl region

Vice-Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan E.E. Birzhanov paid a working visit to Zhambyl region.

During the trip, the Vice Minister got acquainted with the work of the Kordai and Karasu checkpoints on the Kazakh-Kyrgyz border.
So, together with the Border Guard Service, current issues of interaction at the border were discussed, an exchange of views on topical problematic issues was carried out.
During his working trip, he held a meeting with the local population. In particular, the principles and approaches of the new Tax Code being developed were announced, within the framework of which it is planned to further automate and digitalize tax administration processes, reduce the number of taxes, simplify taxation for entrepreneurs, etc.
Yerzhan Birzhanov paid special attention to the opinion of the population about the work of tax authorities, as well as proposals regarding the simplification of tax administration.
At the end of the working trip, a personal reception of citizens was held, during which issues of housing and communal services, entrepreneurship and other pressing problems of the region were discussed.
