The Kazakhstani tried to illegally export more than 28 million tenge in cash to Georgia

   

       Employees of the customs post "Auezhai Atyrau" of the Department of State Revenue of the Atyrau region together with employees of the Department of Economic Investigations of the Atyrau region on November 3, 2022 during customs control through the X-ray television device "RAPISCAN" during the inspection of hand luggage of passengers of the international flight "Atyrau-Kutaisi" a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan revealed 60700 (sixty thousand seven hundred) US dollars, 10,000 (ten thousand) Russian rubles and 7000 (seven thousand) tenge of cash. An administrative case has been initiated against the violator under Article 545 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 14, 2022 No. 830, the export of cash foreign currency and (or) funds in foreign currency in the amount calculated at the exchange rate of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan established on the date of export exceeding the equivalent of 10,000 (ten thousand) US dollars is prohibited.
