Changes have been initiated to the Rules of the pilot project for horizontal monitoring in terms of the categories of pilot project participants and the postponement of participation of taxpayers from the aviation sector.
Taking into account law enforcement practice, authorized economic operators are excluded from the category of mandatory participants in the pilot project.
Horizontal monitoring is a form of control in which taxpayers provide real-time access to accounting and tax accounting data for tax authorities, which prevents tax risks in the future.
As can bee seen from international practice of implementing horizontal monitoring, companies from priority sectors of the economy participate in pilot projects: oil and gas, mining and banking, telecommunications, oil and gas transportation, cargo transportation, aviation, covering tax administration issues.
The pilot project was launched in the Republic of Kazakhstan in July 2020.
The draft order of the Acting Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On amendments to the Order of the Acting Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 1, 2020 No. 648 "On approval of the Rules for horizontal monitoring pilot project" is posted on the Internet portal "Open LSIs" (https://legalacts.egov.kz/npa/view?id=11329852 ).
