During the period from August 23 to 25, 2021, the Educational and Methodological Center of the SRC of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with the Department of Methodology of the SRC of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a remote seminar on:  "Improvement of customs legislation: amendments to the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Customs Regulation in the Republic of Kazakhstan" and decisions of the EEC".

The purpose of the event is to explain the innovations in the customs legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, introduced by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 5, 2021 "On amendments and additions to certain legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on matters of customs regulation and business activities" aimed at  automating and optimizing the rendering the state services in customs affairs, the promotion of foreign trade, the further development of information systems of customs authorities, as well as the professional development of persons carrying out activities in the field of customs affairs.

Local state revenue officials took part in the seminar as listeners.

The lecturers:

- Olzhas Mukhtarbekovich Turlybekov - Chief Expert of the Customs Operations Department of the Methodology Department of the SRC of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

 - Sekenov Zhandos Yerkebulanovich - Chief Expert of the Customs Operations Department of the Methodology Department of the SRC of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

- Koptileuova Zhanna Zhayykkyzy - Chief expert of the Department of Customs Methodology of the Department of Methodology of the SRC of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event was successful and was carried out within the framework of the planned program.

Following the results of the seminar, 112 participants will be sent certificates of successful professional development.
