Declaration Procedure for Income from AIFC Crowdfunding Platforms Simplified

Declaration Procedure for Income from AIFC Crowdfunding Platforms Simplified

Kazakhstan has simplified the procedure for declaring income received through crowdfunding platforms of the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC).

From now on, AIFC participants holding a license to operate a loan-based crowdfunding platform will independently submit the following information to the state revenue authorities:
•details of contracts concluded on the platform;
•amounts of remuneration paid to both residents and non-residents.

This means that individuals are no longer required to declare such information independently in their income and property, assets and liabilities declarations. All necessary data will be transmitted directly by the platform operators.

The information shall be submitted annually, no later than the 25th day of the second month following the reporting year, in accordance with the form and procedure approved by Order No. 697 of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 12 November 2025.

The initiative is aimed at:
•eliminating the need for citizens to complete tax declarations;
•ensuring timely desk audits by the state revenue authorities.
