In 2023, the state revenue authorities conducted 16 407 tax audits (including complex - 2 303, thematic – 5 537, thematic on individual issues – 4 981, time–based survey - 309, counter-inspections – 3 277). The amount of additional charges amounted to 329,3 billion tenge, a total of 214 billion tenge was recovered (including 55,7 billion tenge for current additional charges, 158,3 billion tenge for acts of tax audits of previous years).
