In 2022, 19,417 tax audits were conducted (including complex – 1,705, thematic – 4,760, thematic on individual issues – 10,334, time–based survey - 182, counter-inspections – 2,436). The amount of additional charges amounted to 677.3 billion tenge, a total of 102 billion tenge was recovered (including 31.7 billion tenge for current additional charges, 70.3 billion tenge for acts of tax audits of previous years).
